Weather info as taken from the Met Service rural weather service:

Friday 12    Cloudy, with scattered showers clearing during the afternoon.Northwest winds.
Saturday 13     Cloudy with scattered rain developing. Northwesterlies.
We dont often have rain at the show but it looks as if we may have some precipitation this year. As you know when you show, you should have sun hat, raincoat, light clothes, thermals, sun block and scarf and gloves. Pack everything and you will have the bases covered!
Secondhand sales table:
Please remember to bring an item of secondhand tack or clothing or similar horsey item that can be donated to the sales table. Please put a ticket with price on it  (we will do this if you are not able) and all proceeds are donated to Hospice.
Washing your horse or pony at the show:
We  will be taking our hose and connection to the wash area. Please do not remove it as other people will want to use it.
Please clean up your stables and yards as you would at home. We must  respect the facility and be responsible at all times. Foxton Racing club have provided a great facility for us to use and enjoy and the going is so much better than some of the alternatives!
this is link showing a birds eye view of the Foxton racecourse. On the right of the page you can see the main road and the turn into the racecourse complex. You can clearly see at the top of the photo, the marks in the grass where a show has been held. This area has been fenced by the showjumping group and makes for a very attractive arena layout.
Great feedback from last years show and we have listened. You wanted:
1.  more music on the sound system. This will be happening as we now use a caravan from Manawatu  Sound Services. We trialled it at the Breeders show and were very pleased.
2.  a designated warmup area: this will be flagged on the day
3.  more separation between the little ponies and their much bigger cousins: the rings will be set from the yard end as green, orange, yellow, GAP , silver, navy and red.
